Press Release:
Northwest Volleyball has hired KIM
WERKAU as our Adult Program Coordinator, and Assistant Club
Director. Kim is currently the head volleyball coach at Bellevue
Community College and her relationship with Northwest Juniors dates back to
her Freshman year at Sumner High School, when she started her club career
with Northwest Juniors VBC. Since then, Kim has gone on to star at
Central Washington University, and earn a degree in Marketing. Kim
returned a few years ago to coach the Northwest Juniors 17 Thunder team
(2005 and 2006 seasons). Previous to her coaching position at Bellevue
CC, she served as a Head coach at Kent-Meridian High School. In
addition to her duties at Northwest Volleyball, Kim will coach the 18 Storm
team for the 2007 season. We are confident that Kim is the right hire
for this position and are excited about what she can bring to NW Volleyball

volleyball population of the Northwest.
