Tony has been involved in the volleyball community for going on eighteen years now. He has served as Club Director for Northwest Juniors VBC for seven years. He stays very busy and active in the volleyball community. In addition to running NW Juniors, he served as the Junior Program Director for the Puget Sound Region, USAV (2002 to 2008) and is currently the head coach at Edmonds Community College. He has also served on the YJOV (Youth and Junior Olympic Volleyball) Competition Commission, Girl's Committee since 2004 -- which oversees competition issues at the National level for USA Volleyball juniors.

Kim is Northwest Volleyball's Adult Program Director and Assistant Club Director for Northwest Juniors VBC. She is also the Head Coach at Bellevue Community College, where her 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd in the Northern region of the NWAACC in 2006, 2007, and 2008 respectively. The 2008 BCC team finished 5th overall in the NWAACC, and Kim was the recipient of the Co-Coach of the Year Award. Before being hired at Bellevue Community College, Kim was the head coach at Kent-Meridian High School, and assistant coach at Evergreen High School, and volunteer assistant at Sumner High School. This is Kim's 5th season at Northwest Jrs VBC. Previous to her Northwest Juniors coaching experience, she coached the Bonney Lake U17 team during the 2003 USA Volleyball season. Kim played high school ball at Sumner High School, and played club ball at Northwest Juniors during her entire high school career. Kim then played at Central Washington University from 1998-2001 where she was a middle blocker and served as team captain during the 2000-01 seasons.

Simone Woodhouse

Simone started playing VB at age 12 and would pepper with her brother in the driveway. (She doesn't recommend this on cement) Simone played outside hitter in Junior High and transitioned to setter/DS in High School. She played one year of club and summer league in Kent for 3 years. After leaving HS, Simone attended Art School and majored in Commercial Photography before going to Highline Community College. She am currently working on my BA and hope to finish next year. Simone has continued to play on local adult teams for the past 12 years. During that time, she has coached for the YMCA, special Olympics as well as 2 years at Decatur High School. Simone loves the game of VB and is very passionate about coaching and playing. Her favorite VB player is: Bob Samuelson. We are extremely excited to have Simone onboard with Northwest Juniors.

Freshman Libero at Bellevue Community College, where she was named defensive player of the week for the northern region twice and in the overall NWAACC once. She was also voted First team NWAACC Northern Region, and is a 2009 BCC Team Captain. Patti played for NW Juniors in 2008, 2008 graduate of Archbishop Murphy HS.

This is Jenna's second year at NW Jrs., coaching the 16 Cyclone team in 2008. Jenna is a 2002 Graduate of Bellarmine HS in Tacoma. While in High School she was on varsity three years and played for Puget Sound VBC (5 years) traveling to many National-level tournaments. After high school, she went on to star at Le Moyne College(DII) in Syracuse, NY where she was a starting Middle Blocker. She has coaching experience primarily in camps in High School and College. She is a great addition to the NW Juniors staff.

Tony is the current head coach at Edmonds Community College, his junior teams have had great successes the few seasons and typically end the season ranked in the top in the Puget Sound Region Rankings. Tony has taken four separate juniors teams to YJOV National Championship events. He began his coaching career in 1989 for Northwest Juniors. He volunteered at Highline Community College in 1990 and then from 1991-1998 he was a high school head coach. Tony began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach at Seattle Pacific University during the 1999 & 2000 seasons; he then served as head coach at Bellevue Community College for the 2001-2004 seasons, where his teams took 3rd once, and 5th three times. He finished his career at Bellevue Community College with a four year head coaching record of 39-9 in the North Division (.812) and 124 – 76 overall (.620). He was voted coach of the year in the Northern Division in 2001 & 2002, and in 2002 was voted all-NWAACC coach of the year. He has been with the Edmonds Community College program since 2005, and capped the 2008 season with a first place North Division finish and 3rd place in the NWAACC tournament..

Bridget is a freshman on the Edmonds Community College volleyball team. She played club for Northshore Juniors and NW Juniors before joining the EdCC team. She is a libero for the Tritons and has spent the last two summers working volleyball camps.

Anya Silva

Anya is a freshman on the Edmonds Community College volleyball team, where she was named NWAACC Defensive player of the week once and Northern Division Player of the week twice. She was also named to the 2007 First team all Northern Region team as a libero. She played club for Kent Juniors, and was a first team all-league player her junior and senior years before joining the EdCC team. She was also a member of the all-state volleyball team and has attended several YJOV National Championship tournaments with her KJ teams. She is a Libero for the Tritons and has worked volleyball camps for her high school and locally.

Her volleyball experience dates back to her club days where she played 6 seasons with Saddleback Volleyball Club in Southern California.

Jen returns for a second season as a U15 coach for Northwest Juniors. She is currently the Junior Varsity Coach and assistant Varsity Coach at Highline High School. Jen has been involved in volleyball since sixth grade, and played for Northwest Juniors since she was a U14, including one season with Tony Miranda's 16 Storm team (including a Crossroads Championship and a trip to the Junior Olympic National Championships in Dallas). Jen's coaching experience includes volunteer assistant duties with her alma mater Auburn Riverside HS as well as Power Surge VBC. She is a welcomed addition to the NW Juniors Staff.

Kayla's coached the White River High School JV and was the assistant Varsity coach during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. She is a 2000 graduate of Auburn Riverside HS (where she played with Jen Hall) and during her school years played 3 years with Northwest Juniors and 3 years with Puget Sound VBC. After graduating from ARHS, she played a season at Edmonds Community College. It's always nice to have NWJRs alumni back as coaches, so we welcome Kayla aboard with the 15 Lightning team.

She is another former player for Tony Miranda at Foster High School who returns to coach for Northwest Juniors. April has been active as a player locally and played at Highline Community College for two years after graduating from Foster. We look forward to Aprils contributions this season.

Lindsey's coaching career began as an off-season assistant coach to her high school coach (in Alaska). She was a middle blocker and opposite and she played through high school and also club volleyball in at the University of Wyoming. This is her first season as a junior club volleyball coach.

After graduating High School, Jen did not play college volleyball, opting instead to stay in the area. She coached several seasons with Club Selah after graduating high school, and is a recent transplant to the Seattle area. She is an avid player and plays coed indoors as well as outdoor doubles.

	Jen Hall 16 Inferno Head Coach e-mail	Jen returns for a second season as a U15 coach for Northwest Juniors. She is currently the Junior Varsity Coach and assistant Varsity Coach at Highline High School. Jen has been involved in volleyball since sixth grade, and played for Northwest Juniors since she was a U14, including one season with Tony Miranda's 16 Storm team (including a Crossroads Championship and a trip to the Junior Olympic National Championships in Dallas). Jen's coaching experience includes volunteer assistant duties with her alma mater Auburn Riverside HS as well as Power Surge VBC. She is a welcomed addition to the NW Juniors Staff.
	Kayla Morris 16 Inferno Assistant Coach e-mail	Kayla's coached the White River High School JV and was the assistant Varsity coach during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. She is a 2000 graduate of Auburn Riverside HS (where she played with Jen Hall) and during her school years played 3 years with Northwest Juniors and 3 years with Puget Sound VBC. After graduating from ARHS, she played a season at Edmonds Community College. It's always nice to have NWJRs alumni back as coaches, so we welcome Kayla aboard with the 15 Lightning team.

	April Barreras 15 Thunder Head Coach e- mail	April returns after taking two years completing a dental program in Yakima. 2008 will be April's second stint with NW Juniors. She is another former player for Tony Miranda at Foster High School who returns to coach for Northwest Juniors. April has been active as a player locally and played at Highline Community College for two years after graduating from Foster. We look forward to Aprils contributions this season.

	Lindsey Palmer 14 Cyclone Head Coach e-mail	Lindsey's coaching career began as an off-season assistant coach to her high school coach (in Alaska). She was a middle blocker and opposite and she played through high school and also club volleyball in at the University of Wyoming. This is her first season as a junior club volleyball coach.

	Jen Riste 13 Thunder Assistant Coach e-mail	Jen is a 2003 Graduate if Eisenhower HS in Yakima, where she played club volleyball from 6th - 12th grade. After graduating High School, Jen did not play college volleyball, opting instead to stay in the area. She coached several seasons with Club Selah after graduating high school, and is a recent transplant to the Seattle area. She is an avid player and plays coed indoors as well as outdoor doubles.

	Mindy Rencher 12 Eclipse Head Coach e-mail	Mindy is a freshman on the Edmonds Community College volleyball team. She played club for Idaho Falls Juniors, and was a first team all-league player out of Idaho Falls HS before joining the EdCC team. She is an Outside Hitter for the Tritons and was named to the all-tournament team at the Whatcom Crossover tournament. She has worked volleyball camps for her high school and locally.
