April 16-18, 2010
The Lone Star Classic Qualifier
playing dates are April 16-18. Access to site maps and pools are
available via the website link above. Teams will be leaving Thursday,
April 15th and returning
Sunday, April 18th.

Coaches & Chaperones, please have
your players & parents read over the Travel rules again before you leave for
your trip.
Flight information:
Both Teams are flying American Airlines
The 17 Black team itinerary is:
April 15, 2010: departing flight #1722 leaves
Seattle at 12:10 p.m. and arrives in Dallas (DFW
airport) at 6:10 p.m.
April 18, 2010: returning flight #1017 leaves DFW
at 9:55 p.m. and arrives in Seattle at 12.10 a.m.
NOTE: Both flights are direct flights; $25 each
way for checked baggage
The 16 Gold team itinerary is:
April 15, 2010: departing flight #1722 leaves
Seattle at 12:10 p.m. and arrives in Dallas (DFW
airport) at 6:10 p.m.
April 18, 2010: returning flight #2003 leaves DFW
at 7:50 p.m. and arrives in Seattle at 10:05 p.m.
NOTE: Both flights are direct flights; $25 each
way for checked baggage

chaperone information is submitted by coaches, and will be posted below

For parents traveling with the team, additional
rooms are reserved at the same hotel. You need to call the hotel 30
days before and pull a room off of the NW Jrs. block. Hotel contact
information is below.

We have since moved to a different hotel with better
rates and a bigger room block. Here
is the information on securing a room from that
block, directly from the sales manager:
They
have some King rooms left and some Handicap as well
which only have one double bed in them and are a
little bigger just because they are wheel chair
accessible. They will be more than happy to extend
the team rate of $99.00 which includes the
breakfast. If you are interested in pulling off the
block, please contact him directly for any
reservations needs. He is there from 9am-5pm CST.

Latest Scheduled Match
The latest a
match will be scheduled is 3pm on
the final day of the Qualifier,
which is Sunday each weekend . Most
teams will have finished play before
then, but there is a chance a team
may be playing as late as a 3pm
start. Please make travel
arrangements accordingly.
Club Division Change
Important! The Club
Division at the Mizuno Lone Star
Classic has changed for ages 14, 15
and 16 and under. The club division
will now be split into two
divisions, the National and American
Divisions. The National division
will be for those teams seeking a
National bid to Junior Nationals and
the American Division will be for
those teams seeking an American bid
to Junior Nationals.
This
change to the distribution of teams
will allow for better scheduling and
a better overall tournament. Please
be prepared to decide which division
you want your 14-16 and under teams
to play in with these new changes in
mind.
Ticketing
This year’s
Mizuno Lone Star Classic will be
charging admission to get in to the
event.
