We the 14 Storm had an awesome time at the PNQ last weekend! We came home with a record of 3 and 5 but that does not tell the story of growth we achieved on court. We came to play and have fun and we did both. We had in our pool California Sunshine who ended the tourney up 5th overall and the Imua from Hawaii that rec'd the bid from the Qualifier coming in first. We played both set to the best of our ability and did our best to give nothing away. I am very pleased with the pose and maturity the girls show on the court. Our middles Lark and Emily S not only served but help track the 6.1 (Hawaii) player blocking her several times. We played some of the best defense I've seen all year and let nothing drop. Just thought I'd let you know that the girl thought the qualifier (and parents)was a special tournament and represented NW Juniors with pride and played the game with heart. We took a step up!!! |
