16 Ice 2008 Coaches Corner

The 16 Ice team saw significant
improvement in the last month of play. At the President's Day U16
Division I tourney we started off with a 4th seed in our pool but
immediately moved up on day 1 and eventually finished with 5 wins and 3
losses to end up several spots above our original seed. We carried over
this momentum into the March Power League date winning all 5 of our
matches and moving up a flight. Our two setters, Emily Kuijper and Kelsie Dorpat, have been doing a great job of running the team and our libero, Nora Pulaski, has been the steady passing and defensive force that keeps the team glued together. With the return of two injured players, we are finally at full strength and look forward to continuing our improvement. |
