Tournament Info

|
The Pacific Northwest Qualifier is a premier
national qualifier event for club teams only, attracting many teams from
all over the United States. Last year's Pacific Northwest Qualifier
was a huge success, with many top-notch teams competing.
All playing sites
will have specific areas for food/coolers. Only water will be allowed on
the courts and in the playing areas!
Spokane Convention Center- Spokane, WA
-
1. C.C. will allow bottled water to be brought in but no
outside food will be allowed. Concessions will be available.

2. No coolers or bins will be allowed.

3. Water only in the playing area.

4. Parking will be $5, with no in/out privileges.

5. The Convention Center has no oversized vehicle parking.

6. Team areas will be located in the promenade.
Eastern Washington University (EWU) - Cheney, WA
-
1. Outside food and coolers are allowed at EWU...just no
plug-in devices.
-
2. There will be team areas marked off and we ask that
teams keep their things inside these areas in order to keep
walkways clear.

Parking will be allowed in Lot 12 during the entire tournament.
Parking is only allowed in Lot 9 on Saturday and Sunday!
DO NOT PARK IN LOT 9 on Friday
or you may get a ticket. If you use a meter, make sure to plug
it in accordance with the times marked on the meter.
**Playing assignments are always subject to change
if there are drops! Saturday and Sunday playing sites will be determined
after play on Friday.**

make sure you are familiar with the penalties for accepting and not using a
bid, forfeiting matches during play, refereeing responsibilities, and other
tournament protocol.

Check-In
|
|
CHECK-IN/COACHES' MEETING
All teams are required
to check-in. Failure to do so may disqualify your team from the
tournament. Teams will be able to check in between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00
p.m., on the Thursday evening before your tournament. The
coaches' meeting will be held at 9:00 pm on both Thursday
evenings prior to your tournament. This meeting will be at the
Doubletree Spokane -City Center.
If you CANNOT attend
the coaches meeting because of late flights, you need to
E-MAIL APRIL by March 17 so
we can make arrangements!
All coaches should be carrying a copy of their team's roster (with all USAV
#'s) and medical release forms for ALL players. Coaches (or the adult
designated to check in the team) will be asked for these items upon checking
in, so please have all items available. Coaches will also need to verify and
sign the roster that was submitted and verify referee/scorekeeper
certification for their players. ALL USAV #'s ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE.
IF A TEAM DOES NOT HAVE THEIR USAV #'s OR A LETTER FROM THEIR REGION
CONFIRMING MEMBERSHIP, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY! If a club
director/assistant coach is checking in for a team, he/she MUST have
these items. Check-in will be done by age-division.
